Level 2: Initial Verification - Domestic Inspection & Testing Course Course

This Level 2 inspection and testing course has been specially designed and developed for both new Domestic Electrical Installers and existing contractors who may be unfamiliar with inspection and testing.
Discover how to inspect and test any new or altered single-phase electrical circuit. From dead testing to prove it is safe to turn the power on, through to live testing which proves the circuits are safe and meet current Wiring Regulation standards.
We'll also show you how to complete the required paperwork (Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate) that needs to be left with the consumer in order to comply with BS7671 and Part P of the Building Regulations.

Training consists of both practical workshop and theoretical classroom electrical training.
This course takes place over five days.
The centre training times are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. With breaks for coffee and lunch (Note: lunch is not provided).
Weekend and evening training is available on request (subject to availability).
Exams and Assessment
At the end of your training on day five you will have two exams to take...
An online multiple choice exam consisting of thirty questions.
A practical assessment where you will undertake the initial verification of a representation of a simple domestic installation
Please remember to bring photographic ID such as a passport or driving license with you in order to sit any exam or assessment.
Learners must be at least 18 years old
Learners will also need to hold the latest Wiring Regulations qualification
